November 18, 2017 – City of Casper Wyoming received the CSTMA (Colorado’s Chapter of Sports Turf Managers Association) Field of the Year with their Manager Paul Zowada winning Manager of the Year. What a wonderful achievement. It isn’t common to win both field and manager of the year.

Washington baseball field was built in the mid 1940’s for the town’s youth to have a place to play baseball.  Washington Park hosts about 130 games a year. Being the oldest field in Casper memories and history is what surrounds this field, and we don’t want to lose all the history attached to the field.

Since completing major renovations on the baseball fields which were in horrible conditions, several organizations from around the state ask to host the district and state tournaments at the fields.

Congratulations Paul Zowada and the City of Casper! We are so proud to be a partner with you all on this double accomplishment.
